Wedding planning services

We have crafted and designed our packages with our clients’ needs in mind. If you don’t see one below that sounds perfect for you, schedule a consultation so we can chat through your specific day and customize a collection to suit your individual fête.

Wedding Collections

Feeling lost and have no idea where to begin on your wedding planning journey? This extensive package includes it all, including helping you find the perfect venue to match your wedding vision and aesthetic.

FULL fête

Perfect for the couple who knows what they want, but might have limited time in their busy schedules to get it all done. We will help bring your vision to life with design assistance and tie up your loose ends by helping secure up to five missing vendors.

PARTIAL fête

From the rehearsal dinner to the farewell brunch, we are there from start to finish. A Friday through Sunday commitment, this package coordinates rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks the day before, the big day itself, and any goodbye events that might happen the day after.

fête WEEKEND

Our day-of only package is ideal for couples who have booked all their vendors and just need a fab team to execute everything on the big day. This package can only be booked within six months of the event date, and may be handled by an event assistant rather than lead planner.

fête management

This depends on your desired package!, For Partial Fête and higher we would start working right away, and for Fête Management, the work begins about 90 days out from your big day.

Frequently Asked Questions

When would we start working together?

Always! For Partial Fête and higher, we include one assistant in the package price. If you have over 175 guests, you will need to add on an additional assistant for $300. Please note that the Fete Management package does not include any assistants in the package price.

Would you bring an assistant on wedding day?

We always aim for quality over quantity, and hope to take on clients whose vision excites us! We average no more than 10 weddings per year, but every year is different.

How many weddings do you plan each year?

Absolutely, and we update this often! This list is shared with every client, no matter the package, and you can rest assured that everyone on it has been heavily vetted by our team. If a vendor is on this list, we trust them with you and your big day!

Do you have a preferred vendor list?

We have tried multiple tools out there, and we have been satisfied with using Aisle Planner for several years. Our clients love it and we are sure you will, too!

Do you use any planning tools or software?

This answer fully depends on you and your unique timeline, but we usually arrive right before the photographer and we stay to oversee the majority of clean up, or approximately 12 hours.

When do you arrive and leave on wedding day?

We invite you to check out our Portfolio page as well as our Instagram for the most recent examples of our work!

Where can we find examples of your past work?

The design process is highly collaborative. We develop a comprehensive design concept that reflects your style, love story, and venue architecture, touching on everything from color palette to tablescapes and guest experience.

How do you handle design and aesthetics?

Most of our clients incorporate some aspect of either their religions or cultures into their day, and we have been blessed to work with clients of all faiths and backgrounds. We have planned Catholic church weddings, Jewish and Christian weddings, Muslim weddings, and South Asian weddings, just to name a few.

do you have experience with religious or cultural weddings?

The FDJE team has had the pleasure of planning all types of weddings at over 50 venues across Washington DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. We have extensive experience at wineries, historic venues, museums, personal estates, private clubs, waterfront venues, and luxury hotels.
